FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radiative study of materials field and can be used in the capacity of envelopes of fuel elements of reactors on fast neutrons, elements of developmental module DEMO-RF in reactor ITER. Method of thermomechanical processing of vanadium alloys, alloyed by elements of IVa group of Periodic table and contains carbon, oxygen and nitrogen in amount not less 0.04 wt %, includes homogenisation or annealing of alloys at temperature, exceeding solubility temperature of second phase, multiple thermomechanical processing "plastic deformation+annealing" and final equalising annealing at temperature 950-1100°C. Plastic deformation is implemented by method of multiple comprehensive pressing up to achieving of total quantity of apparent logarithmic strain e≥2.
EFFECT: method provides increasing of strength and plasticity of products without changing of its dimension and shape.
