FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: lid comprises an elastically deformable wall and a protrusion surrounding the said wall. The container has a circular opening and a radially projecting neck with a curved edge that surrounds the opening and is intended to be fixed thereon by snapping the lid that covers the opening. The radial size of the throat is chosen to vary around the opening perimeter so as to provide two to four radially projecting sectors to enable deformation of some lid areas when it snaps radially outward, and of the other - radially inward.
EFFECT: invention provides reliable and hermetically container closure with a lid.
