SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mechanically bearing and electrically insulating mechanical connection (1) of the elongate hollow body (3) consisting of electrically conductive material and extending along the axis (A), in particular of the hollow cylinder, with the connecting element (5) consisting of electrically conductive material and extending along the axis. At one axial end of the elongated hollow body (3) the first thread (7) formed on it and passing around the axis mechanically bears the second thread (9) formed on the connecting element (5) and extending around the axis, and additionally mechanically bears the portion (11) of insulating material fixed between the first and the second thread (7, 9), and electrically isolates the hollow body (3) from the connecting element (5).

EFFECT: creating a mechanical connection withstanding heavy loads, while preserving the isolating properties of the connection.
