SUBSTANCE: describes a liquid polishing paste for treating articles based on aluminium, including an abrasive, triethanolamine, stearic acid, liquid sodium glass and water, in which abrasive waste is used for polishing and grinding optical glasses at the following component ratio, wt %: waste from polishing and grinding optical glasses - 30, stearic acid - 7, liquid sodium glass - 2, triethanolamine - 2, water - the rest.

EFFECT: polishing paste has been obtained, which has a reduced cost, a method of increased economy by eliminating the multistage preliminary preparation of the original abrasive.
