FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: device (1) for stirring a liquid food product, comprising (i) a whipper, which includes a magnetic rotor (48) of a brushless electric motor assembly, and (ii) a main body (10) including a container (24) for the liquid food product, into which the whipper can be placed in such a way that it can rotate about its rotation axis (L), and a stator (20a) of the electric motor. The stator is made with the possibility to bring the rotor electromagnetically into rotation and comprises at least one magnetic sensor made with the possibility to provide a signal that reflects a change of the magnetic rotor position relative to the magnetic sensor. The main housing also comprises a controller (22a) made with the possibility to determine the initial manually-made rotational movement of the whipper around its rotation axis at the signal of the magnetic sensor, and after such initial movement is determined, of controlling the device depending on said initial movement.

EFFECT: good stirring.
