FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: assembly of the electrical cabinet includes a channel chamber with two adjacent channel sections with respective first and second flanges connected for forming a flange joint. The sections of the channels are in the path, along which the pressure wave passes during the arc short-circuit from the device in which the arcing fault occurred, to the exhaust duct. The sealing ring is fixed from the inside to at least one of the first and second panels for closing the flange joint. In response to the peak pressure of the pressure wave, the sealing ring is deformed together with the associated connected panels of the channel sections. Despite the fact that the peak pressure creates gaps in the flange joint, this deformation forces the sealing ring to fill these gaps and, thus, blocks ventilation through the flange joint.
EFFECT: reliability increase.
