FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method for measuring the components and the total vector of the geomagnetic field strength with the help of a flux gage magnetometer located on a stationary platform in an orientation system with a rectangular coordinate system {X, Y, Z}, characterized in that the vector measurements are performed by a single magnetosensitive sensor (MS) of the flux gage magnetometer (FGM) by means of its uniform rotation with angular velocity ω at an angle α to the axis of rotation Ω with angular coordinates αx=αY=αz=α=arctg(√2).
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy and sensitivity of magnetic measurements and noise immunity.
