METHOD OF GEAR CHANGING IN GEAR TRANSMISSION Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC F16H3/44

Abstract RU 2624761 C2

FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method of gear changing in gear transmission is to brake one gear with an unchanged gear connection. With the torque on the shaft (1), all the gears rotate, and the output shaft remains fixed. To enable the transmission, the brake gear (4) is braked by the brake pads (9). In this case, the torque on the gears (2) forces the gears (3) to roll around the perimeter of the brake gear (4). Since the gears (3) are fixed to the disc (5), the disc (5) and the output shaft (10) will rotate together with the gears (3). For braking, a section rigidly connected to the brake gear (4) is used. The cylindrical part of the gear housing (6) serves to support the input shaft (1) and the brake gear (4).

EFFECT: expanded operating capabilities.
