TRANSMISSION WITH UNIVERSAL SELF-CENTERING SYSTEM WITH VARIABLE GEOMETRY Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC F16H9/24

Abstract RU 2612357 C2

FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: transferring the universal self-centering system with variable geometry having input and output shafts, it contains the universal self-centering system with variable geometry of the grounds. Geometric base changes are performed by moving the gear base. The self-centering system comprises an outer and an inner base fixed on them with the sprockets, rollers or gears interconnected by a chain, belt or cable. Rollers, gears and sprockets on one of the grounds have the opportunity to offset the center of rotation on the base under the influence of the transmission load. The displacement is inversely proportional to the load on the transmission.

EFFECT: expanding range of the transmission ratio.
