SUBSTANCE: proposed turbo generator contains a ferromagnetic stranded stator comprising two distributed three-phase windings of a three-phase alternating current of increased frequency F1 And power frequency FS=50 Hz with the number of pairs of poles p1 and p2. And p1>p2, and a rotating ferromagnetic rotor. The rotor consists of two parts, on the external surfaces of which there are two distributed excitation windings in the slots. DC excitation winding with pole pairs number p1 is connected to the output of the brushless excitation device. Three-phase winding of excitation of an alternating current with the number of pairs of poles p2 is connected through contact rings and brushes to a three-phase output of a reversible frequency converter.

EFFECT: reduction of the estimated total power of the converting devices, their total mass and dimensions.
