SUBSTANCE: antenna cowl comprises a ceramic shell, a metal butt frame and a heat-insulating ring arranged coaxially between them, made of heat-resistant glass fiber reinforced plastic with a low modulus of elasticity under tension and a thermal coefficient of linear expansion exceeding the thermal coefficient of linear expansion of the ceramic, bonded to the sheath and the frame by heat-resistant adhesives. In this case, the shell and the ring are connected by an adhesive with low plasticity and the radial clearance between them is 0.25-0.4 mm, And the ring and the frame are connected by an elastic adhesive based on silicone rubber and the radial clearance between them is calculated by the formula S=ΔR1+ΔR2, where S is the radial clearance between the thermal insulation ring and the metal butt frame; ΔR1 - the calculated radial expansion of the thermal insulation ring; ΔR2 - design radial expansion of the metal butt frame.
