METHOD FOR ESTIMATION OF LEVEL OF COMPENSATORY-ADAPTIVE AND ADAPTATION CAPABILITIES OF COSMONAUTS BODIES Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC G01N33/53

Abstract RU 2624860 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method includes obtaining of a chromosomes preparation, staining and determination of cytogenetic parameters, at a value within the range of 18.0-20.6 relative units of the indicator (dose) of active ribosomal genes, the level of compensatory adaptive and adaptation capabilities of the cosmonaut body is estimated as optimal. The invention can be widely used during the initial selection of candidates for cosmonauts, as well as at the stages of preliminary diagnosis of occupational fitness of persons of dangerous occupations, to predict their professional longevity, assess the risks of diseases caused by harmful occupational conditions, predict their course and outcome.

EFFECT: invention provides an opportunity to use one universal indicator for assessment during a space flight, while enhancing the reliability of assessment, including directly aboard a manned spacecraft, as well as to predict the need for additional rehabilitation during cosmonauts repeated adaptation to Earth's gravity after space flights.
