FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biotechnology, particularly to molecular-genetic studies. Disclosed is a method for professional selection of employees of law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation and persons whose activities are associated with a high risk to life and health, for effective performance of service activities in extreme conditions, including detecting persons without a psychiatric and antisocial pathology by using a clinical genealogical method and determining a complex of genotypes of neurotransmitter systems in employee DNA preparations by a molecular-genetic method. Presence or combination of a genotype of the DRDR2 gene, genotypes 4/7, 4/8, 5/7, 6/7, 7/7 of the DRD4 gene, genotype 9/9 of the DAT gene (SLC6A3), genotypes D/D and 12/12 5-HTT gene, allele 3 or 4 of MAO gene, genotype A/G of COMT gene predisposes to adequate and successful activity in these professions.
EFFECT: invention provides an independent, reproducible and reliable result of selecting candidates for effective combat activity in law enforcement agencies.
