FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method of driving pile with protruding reinforcement bars in head end includes fixing the drive head, mounting the pile under the hammer and driving it to the design mark. The steel drive head is fixed to the pile-driving rig. In order to mount the pile under the hammer, the pile is pulled from the horizontal position to the drive head by a cable. After that, the protruding reinforcement bars of the pile are put into the drive head, made in the form of a box with a core in it, consisting of a plate supported by a box and a body connected to the plate, which height is at least 1.5 times smaller than the height of the box. The pile is centered relative to the box by placing the protruding reinforcement bars between the core and the walls of the box in its peripheral zones. The pile driving is performed by transferring impact load from the core body to the concrete end face of the pile.

EFFECT: reducing the labour intensity of the pile driving process, ensuring the shape preservation and spatial position of the pile protruding reinforcement bars.
