FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises of a removable casing, a duct with a shutoff valve-type mechanism, flanged connection for fixing the device housing to the wheel hub of the vehicle, intra-tire pressure chamber and reference pressure chamber connected to a highly sensitive membrane sensor linked to a lever load cell transducer capable of receiving a measurement signal comprising, at least, one specific parameter of pneumatic tire rolling, and of a data processing module representing an electronic microprocessor converter. The device comprises of a data processing module in which there is a removable storage device for storing data on the measured value when the wheel pneumatic tire is being rolled and a data transfer interface to a computer.
EFFECT: improved technical and economic performance of wheeled vehicles and road safety based on the determination of the conformity of the tire types under study to the operating conditions - determination of the optimum rolling surfaces for a particular type of tire in terms of the amount of energy losses.
