FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: operative correction of the extensive stricture of the upper and middle third of the ureter. A longitudinal dissection is made in the stenosed part of the ureter with incision extension to the healthy tissues of not less than 0.5 cm in each direction. The ureter defect substitution with a patch formed from the autologous cheek mucosa. The patched is sutured to the ventral surface of the lumbar muscle. Then the edges of the dissected ureter wall are sutured with the patch edges. Nephropexy is performed.
EFFECT: improved autograft vascularization.
