FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: adhesive product for detecting the water effect includes a fluid absorbing layer including the first major surface and the second major surface; a layer of the pressure sensitive adhesive located under the second major surface of the absorbent layer; a transparent surface coating; as well as a layer of migrating dye. The transparent surface coating is not a film, it can be applied to the absorbent layer by adhesive lamination or heat sealing, and includes the first major surface and the second major surface, where the second major surface is located above the first major surface of the absorbent layer, the transparent surface coating comprising an aqueous dispersion of the acrylic polymer. The layer of migrating dye is located near the second main surface of the absorbing layer and above the adhesive layer. The mass of the coating material for the surface coating is from 1 to 20 g/m2. A version of an adhesive product for detecting the water effect is also disclosed.

EFFECT: obtaining more reliable information about immersing the product in a liquid.
