SUBSTANCE: method of estimating and compensating for the phase noise influence on data transmission includes, among other things, a sequence allocation of several signal samples from a plurality of signal samples, a direct estimation of the phase noise implementation in a sequence of several signal samples, receiving an estimation sequence of the phase noise estimation implementation, estimation and selection of one or more low-frequency spectral components of the phase noise by linear combination of the phase noise implementation estimation with weighted coefficients and receiving a phase noise estimation of the sequence of the plurality of signal samples in the time domain using the inverse Fourier transform of the estimated low-frequency components of the phase noise.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of the phase noise estimation, as well as reducing computational complexity.
