FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining a magnetic composite sorbent involves depositing a wood fiber that is a waste of the production of MDF boards, magnetite particles, onto the surface. The precipitation process is carried out with ammonia water from a solution containing a mixture of trivalent and ferrous chloride, under the influence of ultrasonic vibrations with a frequency of 35 kHz at a temperature of 25±5°C. Mass ratio of wood fiber waste, FeCl3 and FeCl2 is 10:2.23:0.99. The product obtained is washed with water and dried under vacuum at 110°C.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain an effective sorbent for the joint extraction of ions of heavy metals and petroleum products from wastewater.
