FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation spark plugs, wherein an optical pulse discharge is used for igniting the fuel mixture "kerosene + air", wherein the laser radiation energy is concentrated in a predetermined focus F. Aviation laser spark plug comprises a laser machine consisting of a power supply unit (1) and a radiator unit (2), radiating energy in the form of a laser beam (3), an optical fibre (4), a cylindrical body (5) consisting of the component parts: (7, 8, 9, 10, 11), through which a channel (6) moves to pass energy in a form of the laser beam 3, a diverging lens (12) with a sealing ring (13), a focusing lens (14) with a sealing ring (15), material (16) with a low coefficient of expansion and a sealing ring (17).
EFFECT: energy concentration of the optical discharge at a predetermined focus and increased reliability of ignition of kerosene-air fuel mixture by reducing the probability of optical-induced breakdown in the long channel of the laser plug.
