FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry, i.e. to the use of sequence in CAASGCNIKDT, SADTSCNTAYL, DTSKNCAYLQM or KNTAYCQMNSL heavy chains, or of sequence in DFTLTCSSLQP, YCQQHCTTPPT, VVCLLCNFYPR, VCLLNCFYPRE or AKVQWCVDNAL light chains to produce, with the use of gene engineering, antibodies with cysteine substitutions containing free amino acid cysteine with a reactivity value of thiol groups of approximately 0.8 or greater. These sequences in the heavy or light chains are also applied to make an antibody immunoconjugate comprising of cysteine while the antibody retains the ability to bind to antigen. This immunoconjugate contains an antibody covalently bound to the capture label, detection label, to the drug residue or to the solid support through the said cysteine.
EFFECT: invention allows producing antibodies with an increased thioreactivity.
