SUBSTANCE: temperature of air, density of heat flow from the human hands surface and their average temperature, density of heat flow in the forehead, chest, back, waist, abdomen, shoulder, hand, upper thigh, lower thigh, in relative dormancy under comfortable climatic conditions. Human body surface area is determined, time of exposure to cold is established, as well as the allowable heat deficit in the human body under specific working conditions. Next, the predicted gloves heat insulation is calculated for protection against cold in relatively calm air using mathematical formulas.
EFFECT: method allows to predict heat insulation of human gloves for protection against cold, for prediction of any means of personal protection of hands intended for protection against cold, by taking into account a complex of factors that cause a cold load in a real environment.
