SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic-acoustic transducer contains a magnetic system in the form of a permanent magnet and three flat coils electrically isolated from each other and located under the magnet one under the other. The permanent magnet is made in the form of a solid cylinder with a ratio of its diameter to a height of one to three, and the turns of one flat coil are directed at an angle of one hundred and twenty degrees to the turns of the other two coils, and the diameter of the circumference describing the turns of each coil is equal to the diameter of the permanent magnet.

EFFECT: providing the excitation possibility of horizontally polarized ultrasonic waves with a polarization direction at an angle of 120 degrees to each other.
