FIELD: physics; measurement.
SUBSTANCE: application: for nondestructive testing of fabricated metals. Substance: consists that electromagnetic-acoustical transformer contains magnetic system with pre-spaced parallelepiped magnet groups with coplanar alternating poles, first planar inductor within minimally spaced plane in parallel to magnet poles with active coil segments containing perpendicular magnet poles projections to inductor plane, and protector. Electromagnetic-acoustical transformer contains pole tips made of ferromagnetic material and complementary parallelepiped magnets and second planar inductor. Protector is made of planar conductive meander-shaped bus. Pole tips are mounted on magnet poles from the side of inductor. Complementary magnets are mounted on both sides of pole tips so that polarity of all poles adjoining pole tips is identical. Magnetisation direction of complementary magnets is selected from one pole tip to another. Second inductor is connected in parallel to plane magnet poles minimally spaced distance from pole tips. Active coil segments of second inductor are connected under opposite magnet poles. And protector meander coils are directed across coils of first planar inductor.
EFFECT: improved noise-to-signal ratio.
