SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a beverage dispenser comprising a body and a retaining device including a discharge opening below the holding part for placing thereon a first relatively small vessel. In this case retaining portion has such a structure and dimensions which enable it to move between a deployed position retention, suitable to accommodate a small capacitance and a second position, wherein the retaining portion is displaced, at least partly, in the direction from the outlet to form a free space, wherein below the outlet opening may be located capacity greater than the first. The holding device also includes a sensor for determining the position of the holding portion between the first and second positions. Furthermore, there is an input device for selecting various drinks differing by volume, and a warning device for communicating to the consumer of the need to move the holding portion of the system from one position to another, wherein the notifying device is activated based on a comparison between the selected through the input unit drink and a position retaining portion, defined by the position sensor.

EFFECT: optimal preparation of beverages, excluding the possibility of the cup overflow due to carelessness of the user.
