FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: to form a mixed stream fed to the fuel and oxidant in the apparatus combustion chamber to form a mixed stream of solid particles and a hot gas is combusted fuel and oxidant into the combustion chamber to form a hot gas stream containing products of combustion, which passes through the nozzle into mentioned conduit, and solids fed through mentioned feed tube to a pipeline and involve particulates in the combustion product stream to form a mixed stream of solids and hot gas which exits through the open end of the pipeline.
EFFECT: invention allows injection of a mixed stream of solid particles and hot gas into an electric arc furnace containing a molten metal bath and a slag layer, or to a calciner or chemical reactor.
