FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: system of multimedia content streaming is proposed which uses the process of multichannel adaptive streaming in a network medium containing many servers (14, 16, 18) that can, respectively, stream the multimedia content in RTP/RTSP medium through its own channel (20, 22, 24) of data transmission to the client (12). The client (12) includes a controller device (40) adapted to sense each mentioned channel (20, 22, 24) of data transmission to determine the relative pass band connected to each mentioned channel (20, 22, 24) of data transmission and to acquire a portion of mentioned multimedia content from mentioned servers (14, 16, 18) for each relative passband.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of multimedia content streaming.
