CONTROL UNIT FOR CONTROL FLYWHEEL MOTOR WITH CONTROL CHANNEL RESERVATION Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC H02P6/00 H02P6/06 H02P6/16

Abstract RU 2627493 C2

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as a part of control flywheel motors (CFM) for spacecraft orientation and stabilization systems and in areas, where high-precision control of brushless electric motors and fault tolerance of control unit components are required. The brushless electric motor control unit includes two independent feed channels equipped with an automatic key for protecting against the excess current leakage, a control channel on the microcontroller and a control channel on the programmable logic integrated circuit (PLIC), and is configured to combine independent control channels to enhance computing performance, wherein each independent control channel is provided with a corresponding group of sensors comprising a rotor position sensor and as well as temperature sensors and the current sensors for self serviceability connected respectively to the input of the microcontroller and the PLIC, the outputs of which are connected with a respective group of inverters, wherein the microcontroller of the control channel and the PLIC are interconnected to, at least, one respective microcontroller, which provides communication with the external control device. The control unit is equipped with the ROM, to which the PLIC has a direct access, and the microcontroller of the control channel has an access mediated through the PLIC. Hall sensors can be used as rotor position sensors. Two independent control channels are capable of operating as a single channel with enhanced computational performance, the element base is selected, and the circuit components are protected with automatic keys.

EFFECT: improving the accuracy of brushless motor control, providing endurance to destructive factors and technical failures, creating a control unit adapted to a wide range of supply voltages.
