FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering. The device has a multiphase independent stator winding, divided into independent channels, rotor position sensor, frequency converters, as well as an automatic process control system (APCS) with two mutually backed up controllers, connected to each other into a single network, information collection modules, connected to controller area network controllers, personal computers, power distribution panels with switching and protective apparatus, signal translation unit. All converters are connected to each other through a controller area network (CAN). Converter controllers, automatic process control system controllers and input-output modules are powered by an uninterrupted power supply. Power is supplied from several independent inputs numbering two, four or six, depending on power and configuration of the electric drive.
EFFECT: provision for uninterrupted power supply and so operation of the electric motor, wider field of its application, particularly use in circuits for connecting main-line pumps, inlet and discharge ventilators of thermal and electric stations, electric drives of pumps, fitted in water distribution system of a residential area for supply of drinking water and pumping out waste water.
