FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: thermoanalytical method is used to determine the activation energy of thermal degradation E of a polymer material, which consists in heating a number of identical samples of a polymer material at different heating rates, determining the temperature associated with the loss of mass of each sample upon heating, from the obtained data, the activation energy E1. At the same time, the heat flux is recorded for each sample of the polymer material due to thermal destruction processes, the activation energy E2. The activation energy of thermal destruction of the polymer material is taken as the average value of the activation energies E=(E1+E2)/2.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of determining the value of activation energy in order to predict the storage of polymer materials; express analysis; insignificant labor intensity.
