FIELD: analytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for predicting the degree of conversion of powders of solid materials during their storage is disclosed, which consists in the fact that the analyzed samples are placed in a chamber for heating and subsequent holding at a temperature exceeding the storage temperature, then thermoanalytical measurements are carried out, then the data of thermoanalytical measurements are reduced to a dependence for calculation activation energy. The analyzed samples are heated in a chamber at a constant heating rate, the activation energy is calculated using the methods of model-free kinetics, and the obtained value of the activation energy is used to calculate the degree of conversion of powders of solid materials during their storage.
EFFECT: significant reduction in the time to obtain results, as well as a significant reduction in the amounts of powders of solid materials used in research.
