FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a rotary spray granulator having a central axis of rotation, a slag jet delivery device, a slag incidence regulator having a comparator for comparing a predetermined drop position of the slag stream with a predetermined slag position and an output device for outputting the output signal to an actuator for moving the rotary spray granulator in accordance with the result of mentioned comparison, the sensors to determine the predicted position of the slag incidence, the actuator for moving the rotary spray granulator according to the result of comparing the position of the slag incidence, the actuator for moving the rotary spray granulator according to the result of comparing the position of the slag incidence. The rotary spray granulator is provided with a part for receiving a slag jet made in the form of a glass, a disk or an annular piece adapted to rotate about the central axis of rotation.
EFFECT: invention allows to change the technological chain of granulated slag distribution, as a result of which the slag pour point is located at or near the side wall of the casing, and allows to reduce the dimensions of the casing of the device for granulation.
