FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: trimerization catalyst composition is proposed comprising a trimerization catalyst compound selected from one or more organic metal salts, preferably alkali or alkaline earth metal salts, and one or more compounds selected from compounds that contain a carboxamide group of the structure -CO-NH2, and/or from compounds that contain a group of the structure -CO-NH-CO-. A stable composition of polyisocyanates containing a catalyst composition and a process for preparing a polyisocyanate composition are also provided.
EFFECT: inventive trimerization catalyst composition is stable, when stored at a temperature of 20 degrees and ambient pressure for several months, and when added to the composition, the polyisocyanates make it possible to prepare a liquid stable composition of polyisocyanates.
