FIELD: biochemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a curable polyisocyanate composition used to produce a stable intermediate and subsequently curable polyisocyanurate-containing material, as well as to a process for the preparation of said composition and to a method for further curing an intermediate polyisocyanurate-containing material. Composition comprises at least one or more polyisocyanate compounds, at least one or more trimerisation catalyst compounds, at least one or more aldehyde compounds, and at least one or more compounds selected from compounds, which include in their structure a carboxamide group having the structural formula -CO-NH2, and/or compounds, which include in their structure a group characterised by the structural formula -CO-NH-CO-. Said aldehyde compound is selected from compounds characterised by the structural formula R-CHO, in which the CHO moiety is an aldehyde moiety and the radical R is a hydrocarbon moiety, selected from alkyl, alkenyl or aryl groups having from 1 to 50 carbon atoms. Number of equivalents of compounds including a carboxamide group having a structural formula -CO-NH2, and/or compounds that include in their structure a group having the structural formula -CO-NH-CO-, is less than or equal to the number of aldehyde equivalents. Number of equivalents of compounds including a carboxamide group having a structural formula -CO-NH2, and/or compounds which include in their structure a group having the structural formula -CO-NH-CO-, in the curable polyisocyanate composition, for the number of equivalents of the trimerisation catalyst is greater than 0.75.

EFFECT: obtaining a stable intermediate and subsequently curable polyisocyanurate-containing material.
