SUBSTANCE: in the method as well as the in the device for its realisation through a series of connected mixer diodes, a direct current of such magnitude is passed so that the operating point on the current-voltage characteristic (CVC) of each of the identical diodes corresponds to the most nonlinear part of this CVC and the minimum of noise. The direct current to the diodes is fed from the power supply of the corresponding polarity via series-connected resistors, one of which is trim and the other is a constant one connected to the series-connected mixer diodes through a high-frequency choke connected in series with this constant resistor on one side and the first of the series-connected diodes on the other hand.
EFFECT: increasing the sensitivity of radio receivers.
