SUBSTANCE: method contains: obtaining access to the terrestrial radio access network of advanced UMTS (E-UTRAN); searching of the wireless local area network (WLAN), that can process the traffic, related to E-UTRAN; information request about the load and quality of the WLAN signal; and determination of whether the traffic, related to the E-UTRAN can be transmitted to the WLAN in accordance with the requested information about the load, the signal quality and the threshold values. In this case, the threshold values contains the first threshold value, associated with the poor quality of the WLAN signal, the second threshold value, associated with the high quality of the WLAN signal, the third threshold, associated with the low WLAN load, the fourth threshold value, associated with the high WLAN load, wherein the traffic is allowed to be transmitted from the E-UTRAN to the WLAN, when the requested WLAN signal quality is greater, than the second threshold value, and when the requested WLAN load is less, than the third threshold value.
EFFECT: reduction of the loading on the access network.
