FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: described the rubber composition for the conveying belt, containing: the rubber component, including the butadiene rubber and/or styrene-butadiene rubber, carbon black, sulfur and the vulcanization accelerator. The glass transition temperature of butadiene rubber and styrene-butadiene rubber is -65°C or lower; the nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of the carbon black is 90 m2/g or lower; the total content of butadiene rubber and styrene-butadiene rubber is 50% by weight or higher relative to the content of the rubber component; the carbon black content is from 30 to 50 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the rubber component; and the weight ratio (sulfur/vulcanization accelerator) of the sulfur content to vulcanization accelerator content is 1.5 or lower. The conveying belt is also described.
EFFECT: produced the rubber composition for the conveying belt, which contributes to the significant reduction of energy consumption at low temperatures.
