SUBSTANCE: tire element is a tire element obtained by subjecting to a treatment for obtaining cross links of a composition containing a hydrogenated polymer based on a conjugated diene and a cross-linking agent. The used hydrogenated polymer based on conjugated diene is a hydrogenation product of a polymer based on conjugated diene which contains structural units derived from butadiene and has a functional group at one end of the chain or at both ends of the chain. The functional group is one or more groups selected from the group consisting of an amino group, an imino group, a pyridyl group, a phosphino group, a thiol group and a hydrocarbyloxysilyl group.

EFFECT: tire element is satisfactory with respect to the minimum fuel consumption coefficient and has a higher strength and better abrasion resistance than conventional tire elements.
