FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: control device (SG) for controlling the phase position of the first camshaft of an internal combustion engine is proposed, comprising: the first sensor (KG1) of a parametric surface for determining the dynamic predetermined phase position (dSP1) of the first camshaft; the second sensor (KG2) of a parametric surface for determining the static predetermined phase position (sSP1) of the first camshaft; and the first interpolator (IP1) for determining the corrected predetermined phase position (kSP1) of the first camshaft based on the dynamic predetermined phase position (dSP1) of the first camshaft determined by the first sensor (KG1) of a parametric surface and the statuc predetermuned phase position (sSP1) of the first camshaft determined by the second sensor (KG2) of a parametric surface.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of the camshaft phase position control.
