FIELD: military equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to military equipment and method of forming target position in express mode with limited time of flying up of anti-ship missiles with combined homing heads. Method includes evaluation of parameters of protected ship, target and background-target situation in optical and radar ranges. When the laser range finder or laser illuminator is turned on at the measuring complex, the radiation is detected by the protected ship detection station and a command is issued to transfer countermeasures to the operating mode with recording of all commands and responses of the actuating devices and mechanisms. On the measuring complex, the operating time of countermeasures are determined, visualize the preparation time of the shot, start time, formation time, time of effective action, measure physical fields of created false targets and determine their effect on change of physical fields of the protected ship.

EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling determination of characteristics of analyzed protection means with accurate time parameters of their development and effective action time.
