FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: processing method of multicomponent chloride and chloride-sulfate solutions to produce the pure electrolytic CuSO4 and for its regeneration after electrolysis with the insoluble anode involves the precipitation from the initial solution of the pure CuCl salt by the action of previously obtained copper powder with further hydrolytic decomposition of CuCl by the water vapor at the temperature equal to or greater than 100°C, to obtain the copper oxide (I) - Cu2O. Further by the copper oxide action on the sulfuric acid solution obtain the pure electrolyte CuSO4 and the copper powder. At that the copper powder, formed in the process, is used to separate CuCl from the initial solution.

EFFECT: quick and cheap copper extraction from multicomponent solutions in the form of CuCl, simple and cheap processing of it for pure electrolyte CuSO4 and its regeneration in the electrolysis process with the insoluble anode.
