FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: workpiece for formation of a container with a container body and a border section at the edge of the body comprising two associated overlapping border sections. The woekpiece comprises the first and second wall panels to form a container body with a base and intermediate sections between the said first and second wall panels. The first rectilinear folding line extends along the workpiece width, which allows the workpiece to be bent along the said folding line and causes the intermediate panels to cover the regions of the first and second wall panels. The first rectilinear folding line extends between the first wall panel and the bottom panel forming the container base. The first of the said overlapping border panels extends from at least one of the intermediate sections and the second of the said overlapping border panels extends from the first wall panel. The intermediate sections are formed as two asymmetric parts with a second folding line between them, configured to provide tapering both over the width and the length of the formed container.

EFFECT: workpiece compactness during transportation.
