FIELD: heating system.
SUBSTANCE: heat-transfer plate (6) comprises an edge region (26, 28, 30, 32, 34) extending along the edge (20, 22, 24, 36, 38) of this plate and being wavy in such a way that it comprises alternating ridges (40, 44) and cavities (42, 46) if it is looked at the first side (8) of the heat transfer plate. The ridges and cavities extend perpendicular to the edge of the heat-transfer plate. The first ridge (40a, 44a) of mentioned ridges has an upper region (48, 54) extending in the plane (T) of the upper region, and the first cavity (42a, 46a) of mentioned cavities adjacent to the first ridge has a lower region (50, 56) extending in the plane (B) of the lower region. The upper region of the first ridge and the lower region of the first cavity are connected by a main slope (52, 58) and end, as well as the main slope, at the edge distance (de) from the edge of the heat-transfer plate. The heat-transfer plate is characterized in that the slope of the main slope with respect to the plane of the lower region, if it is looked from the lower region of the first cavity, varies from the minimum slope to the maximum slope along the length of the upper region of the first ridge and the lower region of the first cavity.
EFFECT: increase the thermal efficiency of the plate heat exchanger.
