FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: stator magnetic coupling comprises of two identical half-couplings with permanent magnets, mounted thereon and having a number of pole pairs p (where p=1, 2, …, n), and a fixed stator consisting of separate magnetic circuits arranged along the circumference, the number of which is z=2(p+kp/2) (where k=1, 2, …, n). The magnetic circuits are united by a stator casing made of non-magnetic metal. The stator passes through a screen separating the cavities of the drive and driven shafts. There are work parts of the stator, protruding on both sides of the screen, which interact with the half-couplings. There is an air gap between the half-couplings and the stator. The magnetic flux, generated by the permanent magnets of the half-couplings, is closed through the multi-element ferromagnetic stator circuit. Rotation of any of the half-couplings results in the occurrence of a rotating magnetic field in the stator, which drives the second half-coupling.
EFFECT: high specific characteristics with a significant thickness of the separating screen, providing a high differential pressure and radiation safety.
