SUBSTANCE: in the method of isolating the quadrature components of the reflected electromagnetic wave in the to-and-fro motion or vibration, the homodyne reception of the of reflected target signal is performed, and the quadrature components of the obtained low-frequency signal are separated by narrowband low-frequency filters tuned to the neighboring harmonics of the of reflected target signal with the harmonic phase-modulated signal. The method is realized by means of a device for isolating the quadrature components of a reflected electromagnetic wave during to-and-fro motion or target vibration performed in a certain way.

EFFECT: simplification of the way to isolate the quadrature components of the reflected electromagnetic wave in the to-and-fro motion or target vibration, increasing its sensitivity and reducing the cost of its implementation.
