FIELD: radio engineering, radiolocation. SUBSTANCE: transceiver of homodyne radar has generator of probing signal with voltage-controlled frequency connected to transmitting antenna, generator of modulating signal which output is connected to input controlling frequency of generator of probing signal, mixer one input of which is connected to receiving antenna and which another input is connected to output of generator of probing signal, amplifier and filter tuned to modulation frequency or its harmonic connected in series to output of mixer, synchronous detector or quadrature synchronous detector connected with first input to generator of modulating signal and with second input to output of filter and connected with outputs to outputs of transceiver. Alternative transceiver determining sign of phase difference of received and probing signals includes second filter connected through amplifier to output of mixer and tuned to another harmonic of modulating signal, second synchronous or quadrature synchronous detector connected with one input to generator of modulating signal and with another input to output of second filter and with outputs to outputs of transceiver. In another variant of transceiver mixer and generator of modulating signal are replaced by autodyne unit performing their functions and connected with SHF signal input/output to transceiving antenna, with input controlling frequency of probing signal to output of generator of modulating signal and with output to input of amplifier.
