FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: aroma-releasing segment comprises a rod of fibrous material surrounded by a substantially airtight wrapper and a plurality of solid menthol particles distributed within the rod of the fibrous material. The fibrous material contains statistically oriented fibers. Preferably, the smoking product comprises a mouthpiece, the mouthpiece comprising the aroma-releasing segment. The airtight wrapper reduces the loss of menthol particles when storing cigarettes.
EFFECT: invention provides high menthol delivery to the consumer.
