SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a smoking article filter having flow restriction element in a combination with the cavity of the mouth end, and to a smoking article with such filter. Smoking product contains a flow restriction element, containing transverse barrier, including one or more orifices, at that the smoking article forms a cavity of the mouth end, extending from the transverse barrier of the flow restriction element to the mouth end of the smoking article and the first rear tubular part behind the transverse barrier, at that the first rear tubular part, at least partially defines a cavity of the mouth end, at that one or more orifices provided in the first tubular part to to form a communication path between the external periphery of the first downstream tubular portion and the mouth end cavity. At that one or more orifices contain one or more paths, extending through the wall of first downstream tubular portion, while paths extend at an angle beta (β) to the radius of cross section of a flow restriction element, at that angle beta (β) is offset from radius at less than 45 degrees.

EFFECT: smoking articles with the specified filter.
