FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method involves evaluating a biological object through biochemical analysis. Litter is used as a biological object. Wherein, chickens and cockerels are preliminary separately placed in cages. At the young age of 7-28 days fresh litter per day is selected and the mass fraction of nitrogen is determined in the average sample. With a mass fraction of nitrogen in litter, 6.12-6.55% chickens are selected for the breeding group.
EFFECT: use of invention allows to increase the accuracy of selection of young chicken meat breeds by productivity.
