FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method involves evaluation of birds in terms of figure, feathering condition and evidence of secondary sexual characteristics. Selection of chickens is performed by live weight at an age of 18 weeks, one selecting specimens whose live weight is equal to M, M±0,5δ, where M is the average live weight of a bird within the flock, δ is mean-square deviation.
EFFECT: simple method enabling maintenance of the attained productivity level and selection efficiency enhancement.
